▶ Can’t we just call 911, why do I need on-site medical staff?
Just like we’ve been those volunteer’s you’ve always trusted, we also come from the same 911 services you know and trust. We have years and years of experience working in many different types of 911 emergency medical systems and have found that there are several very important reasons you should not solely rely on ’911′ for your event. Most importantly, calling 911 may be difficult if you have not preplanned your event site for good cell-service. 911 systems are responsible for an entire community and may be assisting others when you call. 911 responders may not be trained or equipped to access all regions of your event.
▶ Where does EMS Unlimited provide services and where are you based?
This is a great question. You may notice that not much of our literature specifically mentions where we operate. This is an intentional exclusion. Event Medical Solutions Unlimited is based in beautiful Steamboat Springs, Colorado and of course offers services to the immediate surrounding area. The key to our service is that we specialize in serving events in destination locations. To put it simply: “Have expert staff, fully equipped and insured services – will travel.”

You may have heard or read about our risk assessment. This is a special tool we’ve designed to examine specific components of any event. The risk assessment determines the quantity and levels of medical staffing your event deserves. It also accounts for any specialized vehicles or other resources you may need.
